This is an initial checklist for DLI admission applications. We may request additional documents based on the need for your application and current requirements.

πŸ‘‰ Different DLIs have different documents requirements. Below are the most common requirements we observed. We can find your DLI specific requirements once we start working on your application.
πŸ‘‰ DLIs make admission decisions independently. We cannot influence or speed up the decision-making process of colleges and universities.

Most Colleges and Universities

Valid Passport – all biography, signature pages and pages with any visa and stamps (if applicable)
Language Scores – valid for two years from the exam date

a. IELTS Academic, PTE, Duolingo, CAEL, TOEFL etc. (IELTS GT Not accepted)b. Some DLIs require the scores to be valid when classes start, while some require the scores to be valid at the time of application submission.
πŸ‘‰ We don’t encourage language conditional admissions due to significantly high refusal risk.
School Education - Grade 10 and Grade 12 certificate and marks sheets.
College/University Education

a. Diploma/Post Graduate Diploma/Certificate

i. Final diploma certificate or provisional certificate

ii. All semester mark sheets, consolidated mark sheets not accepted

b. Bachelor’s degree

i. Bachelor’s degree certificate or provisional certificate

ii. All semester mark sheets, consolidated mark sheets not accepted

c. Master’s degree

i. Master’s degree certificate or provisional certificate

ii. All semester mark sheets, consolidated mark sheets not accepted

Backlog certificate or no-backlog certificate – must be on official letterhead

a. Must list the number of backlogs in each semester and the number of attempts. If there were no backlogs, the number of backlogs would then be 0.
Resume – up to date

a. Education, work, and volunteer experience a detailed chronological order with month and year

b. For graduate programs, the resume should be in line with the desired education field

Study Gap Supporting Documents

a. Resume with a Last Drawn (last month) Pay Slip, or

b. Work Experience Letter with the Last Drawn (the latest month) Pay Slip

c. Recommended including all experience letters from the date of past studies

Most colleges in Ontario do not accept more than five years gap.
Signature Authorization - a good quality photo of signature on a plain white paper with a blue ball pen
Application Fee – as applicable
Emergency Contact Details - please complete emergency contact details form First Name, Last Name, Relationship, Phone Number, Email, Home Address needed
Proof of Residency (address proof) and Immigration Status (if already in Canada)
Medium of Instruction Letter from College/University on official letterhead
Quebec DLIs – Birth Certificate, Parents Information (Name, DOB, Phone, Address)
Frequent Email Monitoring of your email you provided us for the admission process


Most Universities and Some Colleges

Official Documents (transcript and certificates)

a. Application may require official transcripts and graduation certificates to be mailed to the DLI for this application to be assessed or after an admissions decision is made. These documents will need to be provided in a sealed envelope directly from the issuing institution: they will not be accepted if the school cannot confirm that they are genuine.

b. This requirement MIGHT be waived by the school IF:

i. The transcripts can be verified online, OR

ii. The notarized documents are provided, OR

iii. Official documents can be sent directly from the official email address of the issuing institution

When sending through email, no other party should be in cc. It must be directly from the issuing institution's official email to the receiving institution's official email.
Credential Evaluation Report – WES Course by Course Report
GRE/GMAT - some universities may waive off with significant experience in the field
Personal Statement

a. A personal statement/letter of intent describing the applicant’s academic and professional background, motivation, aptitude, and career goals related to the study of the program and explaining why the applicant is an ideal candidate

b. Some universities may ask this in a prescribed format, such as a β€˜1-page cover letter'

Reference List – minimum 3

a. Name, Organization/Employer, Position Title, Email Address of the Company (generic like Gmail, Yahoo not accepted), Phone Number, and Company Address

b. Some universities may require formal reference letters on official letterheads

Others – as requested by the DLIs (Colleges and Universities), such as

a. Interview

b. Sample of Written Academic Work

c. Thesis/Research Programs – Supervisor Identification, communication, and approval
